They help AI agents connect your site to your profiles on GitHub, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.: ``` ``` This is part of the IndieWeb identity verification standard and is increasingly used by AI agents to verify author identity. --- ## No OpenGraph meta tags OpenGraph tags (`og:title`, `og:description`, etc.) are primarily for social sharing but AI agents also use them as a structured data fallback: ``` ``` --- ## OpenGraph required tags missing ax-audit treats `og:title`, `og:description`, `og:url`, and `og:type` as the required core. Without all four, link previews are unreliable and agents fall back to scraping the page. ``` ``` --- ## OpenGraph recommended tags missing `og:image` and `og:site_name` are recommended for richer link previews. Without an image, link previews fall back to a domain-only card. ``` ``` Recommended image dimensions: 1200×630, < 8 MB, served over HTTPS, with absolute URL. --- ## No Twitter Card meta tags Twitter Cards are consumed by X / Threads / Bluesky / Discord / Slack and many AI link-preview pipelines.
